Grief Art Healing Experience
Navigating the unchartered waters of grief can be overwhelming, often leaving children and their families feeling hopeless and unsure how to move forward. Our Art Healing Experiences are curated Individually per Family Need for those navigating trauma as a result of a death or non-death loss. During these experiences, families are able to engage in creative, therapeutic experiences that decrease fear, provide grief education, and create new hope.
Individual Grief Counseling For Children
As a parent, explaining death, grief, and loss to children can often feel scary and overwhelming. During our 12 week scholarship opportunity, grieving children and their caretakers are invited to learn about grief, emotional expression, and healthy coping. through a partnership with Kiddo Care Therapy. Individual and family sessions are offered at no cost to families during this 12 week journey of creating new hope together.
Rhythm Workshops
Research has shown that engaging in an expressive arts activity for at least 45 minutes can lower stress levels in the body, no matter one’s talent or skill level. During our Rhythm Workshops, participants are invited to learn, engage, and experience the healing impacts these creative, therapeutic experiences bring to our minds and bodies. As the rhythm of the ocean changes, so do these ongoing workshops. Art, Yoga, Music, Pottery and many others are the types of activities one can expect to learn from a seasoned professional in our community.

We are thrilled to provide creative, therapeutic experiences at no cost to children and their families needing support, a safe place to feel seen, be heard, and create new hope. An important goal at RoH is to increase awareness about the healing impact the arts has on our minds, bodies, and souls.
